Mobile app design for food lovers

Foodie is a new mobile app that brings food lovers together to post photos of the best meals they’ve had and share their stories. After receiving some basic brand guidelines (logo and fonts), I had a free hand with my creative process. The app is designed mainly with black, white, and shades of gray, since food photos are usually content rich and colorful. The news feed highlights the editor’s picks and lets users view posts from people they follow, as well as exploring nearby options.
